Our Story
Foundation and Growth
The inception of the World Telugu Federation can be traced back to a historic gathering at the Chennapuri Andhra Mahasabha. On September 13, 1992, Dr. V. Genguswamy Naidu became the first Honorary Chairman. The official inauguration by Shri. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao at the World Telugu Meet in New York in July 1993 marked the beginning of WTF’s journey. Over the years, the leadership of Dr. V.L. Dutt and later Dr. V.L. Indira Dutt propelled the Federation to new heights, organizing numerous successful international conferences and establishing the Telugu Heritage Museum in Visakhapatnam.
