Our History

In the colorful cultural collage of India Telugu is distinctive with its rich literature and hoary tradition that transcend several thousands of years. It holds an amazing cultural and emotional appeal to millions of Telugus within India and overseas. But today in globalized world where utility takes precedence over the finer aspects of life, the language is viewed in isolation without the cultural or emotional elements that go with it. Today it has been reduced to nothing more than just means of communication; consequently mastery over alien languages has become mandatory while proficiency in mother tongue is considered important. As Telugu culture is unique and forms a crucial part of the Indian history with their mellifluous language full of rhyme and rhythm, world class literature exquisite fine arts, age old folk arts and enthralling music textile, cut effects like lepakshi handicrafts are some of the finest examples.
